Harry Symeou, sometimes found on talkSPORT, has revealed that representatives of Bukayo Saka are satisfied with Arsenal’s transfer window so far this summer.

The 20-year-old now just has two years left on his current contract and as the Gunners narrowly missed out on Champions League football last season his future was thrown into doubt.

Manchester City are said to be ‘keeping an eye’ on his situation while the Daily Mail revealed that the Blues were looking to  ‘steal a march’ on their rivals Liverpool who have also been credited with an interest.

However, just as Edu and his fellow executives are making waves in the market with the arrival of Fabio Vieira and imminent signing of Gabriel Jesus, they may have an agreement to settle in-house after Symeou’s latest comments on 90min’s Talking Transfers podcast.

Will Bukayo Saka become one the best wingers in the world?

(21:55)”We’ve also been told that Saka’s people are watching the window and have been quite pleased by what they’ve seen and could potentially sit down with Arsenal sooner rather than later as well.

“I think these moves that Arsenal are making not only do they improve the team but they also give you a better chance of keeping hold of these young talents. because they can see that at least as a club you’re making a conscientious effort to close the gap on those that you want to be leapfrogging.”

TIF Thoughts on Saka and Arsenal…

While the Gunners ‘intensify’ their efforts to recruit another Premier League dynamo in Raphinha, who ironically plays in the same preferred position as Saka, tying down their £58.5m-rated gem would be a huge signing in itself.

The Leeds United winger would in no way be a replacement for the talented Englishman but the transfer would instead be a motivator for the 14-cap ace and it will demonstrate clearly Arsenal’s ambitions for the upcoming season.

The calibre of players they are trying to bring in definitely have the potential to lift the club back into the Champions League.

As a result and perhaps, more importantly, it will encourage their young guns to stick around.
