Celtic fans will be loving the footage posted to Twitter on Wednesday night of Anthony Ralston’s outrageous assist for the opening goal of the game.

It was Giorgos Giakoumakis who put the Bhoys ahead on the evening with the Greek striker netting what was his 11th goal in the Scottish Premiership (via Transfermarkt).

However, it was the stunning build-up play from Ralston which made the goal as the right-back danced around the edge of the ball before delivering an inch-perfect cross for the striker.

And footage of the assist surfaced on Twitter as BBC man Dominik Diamond shared the 23-year-old’s good work in creating the goal for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

“Ralston is the combination of brickie, ballet dancer and Ballesteros with the twinkle toes and chip combo!” he tweeted whilst relaying the footage of the assist.

TIF Thoughts on the footage…

Celtic and Postecoglou, alike, will absolutely love this footage with the Scottish defender providing his eighth assist of the season for the Hoops (via Transfermarkt).

And this comes amid Josip Juranovic’s recent injury issues which has left the Croatian a doubt for the game on the weekend having missed all the games since Ross County, too.

However, with a clear threat in Ralston, there will be no major rush for Juranovic to make a return to the XI with the Bhoys also now confirmed as the Scottish champions.
