Rangers forward Amad Diallo took to Instagram to his express his anger at the outcome of the Old Firm derby on Sunday.
The Gers’ Glasgow rivals are on the brink of reclaiming the title after a 1-1 draw at Parkhead on Sunday afternoon.
Rangers needed to win to cut the gap at the top to three points, but they remain six off the pace with just three games of the season remaining, leaving the Bhoys on the brink of the title.
Diallo was introduced as an 88th-minute substitute in the game with the score at 1-1, picking up a booking less than 60 seconds after coming onto the field – and it seems as if his frustrations continued after the game.
TIF Thoughts on Diallo and Rangers…
Rangers were perhaps fortunate to find themselves only a goal behind as Celtic passed up a couple of gilt-edged chances to increase their lead after Jota’s opener.
However, after Fashion Sakala levelled matters in the second half, they seemed the most likely to go on and grab a winner.
It never came, though, despite Sakala rattling the post and Hoops shot-stopper Joe Hart being forced into three saves from shots inside the box.
On another day, those efforts could have found the back of the net and the title race would still be alive, but after Rangers ended their quest for ten in a row last season, Celtic have effectively sealed the silverware – leaving the Gers’ players agitated.
