Rangers ace has sent a possible hint that he could start in the Europa League final tonight amid recent fitness concerns.

The 29-year-old has been injured in recent weeks, leading to much speculation over whether or not he would be fit to play any part in the clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.

After travelling with the team to Spain, it was then confirmed that he will indeed be available for selection in Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s squad.

Of course, it is not known whether or not he will be deemed ready to start, but after the striker shared a fresh video on his Instagram account, there is reason for fans to be hopeful.

The post reveals a highlights compilation of some of the goals he has scored for Rangers, while the inclusion of an egg-timer emoji suggests that he could be involved from the start – and will hopefully play at least some part, even if just from the bench.

No doubt, fans will be desperate for the Jamaican to be involved. Indeed, in his last European outing, he scored a goal and won a penalty as he helped his side edge past Braga – while he also has 16 goals to his name and a further two assists this term in all competitions.

If he can have a similar impact against Frankfurt tonight, Roofe could well return from injury just in time to lead the Scottish club to Europa League glory.
