Celtic clinched the Scottish Premiership title this season, taking the crown from fierce rivals as Ange Postecoglou delivered a double in his debut season in the Celtic Park dugout.

With the season wrapped up for Postecoglou and co, attention will surely be turning to next season already as they look to defend their titles and push on, performing better in Europe.

With that in mind, deals for players will be a priority, especially players such as Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers whom have been on loan at Celtic Park this season.

It is believed the American centre-back is in Celtic’s plans for the summer, however, reports suggest there are a number of other clubs from the Premier League who are showing some interest in acquiring the centre-back.

The latter shared a message on Instagram to thank the fans for their support during the season:

TIF thoughts on Cameron Carter-Vickers’ post…

Which season did Roy Keane join the Hoops?

John Hartson, speaking to the Glasgow Times, provided a boost for the Hoops, saying he knows that Tottenham Hotspur are wanting to sell the centre half.

Carter-Vickers has been one of Celtic’s best players this season, playing 46 times for Postecoglou, showing how important he has been. He didn’t miss any games via suspension, proving how reliable he has been at the back for Celtic.

And given the Bhoys ended the season with just 22 goals conceded in the league, surely the Hoops will be doing everything they can to keep that backline together.
