Rangers youngster Amad Diallo took to Instagram to display his frustrations after he sent a chance beckoning against Ross County.

Diallo joined Rangers on loan in the Scottish Premiership from Manchester United in January, and despite scoring three minutes into his debut, he has failed to have a major impact at the club, having made just nine appearances in the league, and only three of those have been from the start.

The 19-year-old came on for Rangers at half-time last time out against Ross County when the Gers were already 2-0 up, and he managed to grab a goal for himself in the 90th minute when defender Calvin Bassey set him up to finish.

Although he did manage to score, the United loanee took to Instagram to post a video of one of his near misses from the night, which left him annoyed, after he dribbled past a few County defenders but blazed his shot well wide of the goal.

TIF Thoughts on Amad Diallo…

Diallo signed for Manchester United from Atalanta in the summer and Ralf Rangnick thought it was best for the youngster to go out on loan to Rangers in the SPFL, but things might have not gone the way the United boss would have hoped.

In the SPFL he has a goal every 96 minutes, which is the best in the Rangers squad, so maybe if he was given more of a chance to show what he can do, then he may have stamped more of a mark during his loan spell.

Has Diallo deserved to be given more of a chance for Rangers?

With the lack of involvement for Diallo this season whilst at Rangers, Erik ten Hag may seek to send him out on loan again next season, and Giovanni van Bronckhorst might attempt to lure him back to the Ibrox for a full season to see if he can have an impact.
