Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has dropped a huge hint that he could make a return to the Celtic line-up between now and the end of the season.

The 6 ft 4-inch colossus was ruled out for 18 months when he collided with the post as he bravely cleared a goalbound effort in Celtic’s 3-0 win over Dundee United in December 2020.

He suffered a serious knee injury which kept him out for 409 days until he made an emotional return to action in February in the Scottish Cup.

He hasn’t featured since but with the Hoops all but mathematically Premiership winners he could be in line to feature in their final two games of the season.

In his latest Instagram post, the former France U20 international teased a return with an hourglass emoji alongside him pictured in training which could be counting down the days to he takes to the field.

Which season did Roy Keane join the Hoops?

He hasn’t been able to make Ange Postecoglou’s matchday squad for a league game since February never mind dislodge the terrific tandem of Carl Starfelt and Cameron Carter-Vickers in the heart of the league’s best defence.

However,  he was pretty much a regular in the team before his nightmare almost a year and a half ago and it seems as if he will get his chance sooner rather than later.

His recovery could come full circle if he appears on Wednesday night against the same side, Dundee United, that he sustained his freak injury.
