Celtic all but secured the Scottish Premiership title on Saturday afternoon as they brushed aside Hearts 4-1 at Celtic Park.
Joe Hart was beaten just three minutes in as Ellis Simms found the back of the net, but goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi, Matt O’Riley and Giorgos Giakoumakis all replied for the hosts to complete an emphatic comeback win.
Do you think Jota will be at Celtic next season?
Celtic can’t be overtaken on points by title rivals Rangers, they can only finish on the same points as each other. However, Ange Postecoglou’s side hold a 22 goal advantage when it comes to goal difference with two games remaining for the Hoops, so it would be nothing short of a miracle should the Gers retain their title.
After the game, Joe Hart shared the following Instagram post, with teammate Josip Juranovic unable to resist a joke:
TIF thoughts on the post and comment…
It’s great to see the players in such high spirits after such a momentous day in the title race, having a good laugh with each other on social media shows the fans just how high the spirits are in camp at the moment and how well the group gets on.
It certainly seems like the group all get on well together, especially after seeing Kyogo Furuhashi the lead man in the celebrations yesterday despite it being his first season at the club.
