West Ham United are set to be without Angelo Ogbonna for their curtain-closing fixture of the 2021/22 Premier League season, where a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion awaits.
David Moyes can still guide the Hammers to a sixth-place finish in the league this season should they win and Manchester United slip up at Crystal Palace, with the Scot suffering a setback in his quest to finish above one of his former employers.

It looks like Angelo Ogbonna’s season is over, with the Italian centre-back not looking likely to recover in time for one last appearance this season, meaning Moyes will have to make do without him at Brighton.
In his latest injury round-up show, expert and Sky Sports contributor Ben Dinnery had the following to say on Ogbonna’s chances: “There was lots of talk and suggestion over the last 4-6 weeks that he could be in contention again after an ACL rupture, but that isn’t going to be the case.”
TIF Thoughts on Angelo Ogbonna’s injury…
It’s a shame for the Italian that he looked set to feature again before the season ended, so the fact that isn’t the case is a blow to him and West Ham. He played every minute in the Premier League this term up until his injury, showing how crucial he is.
