There have been some question marks over Sergio Reguilon’s fitness ahead of the Premier League run-in, with the 25-year-old missing the last four games through a groin strain.

Even Conte has suggested the left wing-back may not feature again this season, with the Italian saying the following before the game against Arsenal (via football.london): “Sergio is not available, and I don’t think he can recover, we only have 10 days [of the season, after Arsenal] to go.”

However, with such a huge game ahead of Spurs on Sunday, could Reguilon be making his return to the squad with Champions League football on the line? The image below could suggest he is closer to making a comeback than previously thought.

TIF Thoughts on the image to emerge…

It could certainly be a boost for Conte to have Reguilon return to his selection for Sunday, however, it seems Ryan Sessegnon has won the battle to become Conte’s first-choice wing-back.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a good run under the Italian manager and provided the crucial assist for Son Heung-min’s goal against Liverpool just a couple of weeks ago (via Transfermarkt).

With reports surrounding the future of the Spanish defender, this could potentially provide him with an opportunity to say his goodbyes to the travelling fans.
