Daniel Levy will fully back Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur this summer in the upcoming transfer window.

This is according to reliable Spurs journalist Alasdair Gold, who was speaking on his latest YouTube video following the final game of the season at the weekend.

Do you have high hopes for this summer?

Yes

Yes

No

No

It was a weekend to remember for the Lilywhites, as they secured a return to Champions League football for next season having won in emphatic fashion against Norwich City.

And looking ahead to the upcoming transfer window, Gold revealed his expectation for the board to match Conte’s ambition to continue their development by signing the right players this summer.

It has been a turbulent season for the north London club, which has seen the Italian manager kick up a fuss at times, however, it seems those that hold the power in N17 will be looking to keep Conte happy in the coming months.

Gold said: “Look, Spurs are going to do it. Spurs are going to do it. That’s what I’m saying. I’m just gonna say it right there.

“As soon as that game finished, I started contacting every single person I could get anything from within that club – anyone that has anything to do with the club. And everything came back with a singular kind of response: they’re going to back him. They are going to back Antonio Conte.”

TIF Thoughts on Gold’s comments…

This will be music to the ears of Spurs fans. The Lilywhites ended the 2021/22 campaign in style with 10 wins from their final 14 Premier League games.

And after what was a dreadful start to the campaign and a turbulent run of form under Conte, the Lilywhites only finished three points behind third-placed Chelsea.

So with a full pre-season under his belt and some big additions added to the squad over the summer, we think there are exciting times ahead for Spurs – if the club act as reports are suggesting they will.
