Newcastle United supporters will be buzzing to see what’s in store for them pre-match at St James’ Park tonight.

The Magpies will walk out at St James’ Park for the final time this season as they welcome top-four chasers Arsenal, and Eddie Howe’s side will likely be ready to put on a show for their fans, who have backed them throughout this up-and-down season.

Since Newcastle were taken over by PIF and got rid of Steve Bruce and Mike Ashley, the atmosphere has improved drastically, with fan group Wor Flags playing a huge role, as their flag displays have been something very impressive on Tyneside and they are reportedly set to unleash their biggest one yet this evening.

Wor Flags have tweeted that ‘around 49,000‘ bits of foil will be placed on seats and teased what some of the stands will look like prior to kick-off this evening.

It’s been quite something that Newcastle games are now selling out weeks in advance, such is the feel-good factor on Tyneside. It just goes to show how happy the Geordie faithful are now, and Wor Flags has played a huge part in that with supporters loving what the group do.

This is because everything created is funded by and for the fans, with some displays costing upwards of £1,000, so if supporters weren’t happy or excited for what else could be created, they would simply stop donating. As for tonight’s display, it is set to be the biggest and best one yet, so fans will no doubt show up in their numbers for this stunning display.
