Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has claimed two more Manchester United players are considering their future at the club.

It has been a season to forget for United with attention quickly turning to preparations ahead of Erik ten Hag’s first campaign at Old Trafford.

The current Ajax coach has signed a deal through to 2025 to take over from Ralf Rangnick, who will move into a consultancy role alongside managing Austria’s national side.

Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Edinson Cavani, Lee Grant, Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba are all set to leave United upon the expiry of their current deals, and in an expected summer revamp in Manchester, Romano has claimed another two under contract players could find themselves elsewhere.

Speaking on his YouTube channel he said:

“It’s important to say that two more players have chance to leave Manchester United in the summer.

“One is Eric Bailly because the player is not happy with his game time and so he’s waiting to see what will be the position of Erik ten Hag but from what I’m told there are good chances for him to go in the summer to leave Manchester United so Bailly will consider potential proposals.

“And for [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka there is an interest from Crystal Palace they would love to have the player back but still no decision made on player side. So let’s see what Wan-Bisakka will decide in the coming months.”

Sports Witness relayed an update from Tuttosport on Wednesday that Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries is high on Ten Hag’s wishlist and he could be a potential replacement for Wan-Bissaka.

The 24-year-old will be entering the final two years of his contract and hasn’t been a regular since the turn of the year, with Paul Scholes labelling him as ‘useless on the ball’ back in November.

Meanwhile, Bailly has been surplus to requirements this season playing just 7% of the club’s Premier League minutes, and it is unlikely that he will become a favourite under his new coach especially with the club eyeing Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres.
