Journalist Conor McGilligan has claimed that rumoured Leeds United target Tyler Adams wants a move to the Premier League.

According to American journalist Tom Bogert, the Whites will try and sign the RB Leipzig man this summer if possible.

With that possibility being touted, the chances of a future transfer have taken another positive step in the direction of Leeds after a new update.

Indeed, while talking on the One Leeds Fan Channel, McGilligan explained his understanding of the situation was that Adams and his agents will be pushing for a move to England’s top flight this summer.

He said: “Tyler Adams is a central defensive midfielder, obviously plays for RB Leipzig.

“I’ve been told, by [American journalist] Filippo [Silva] and other people who I’ve followed this up with, he is looking for a move to the Premier League this summer. That’s what he wants allegedly.

“He’s looking to leave Leipzig, and him and his agent are looking towards the Premier League for a move.”

TIF Thoughts on Tyler Adams and Leeds…

Considering Leeds have just signed Brenden Aaronson – who worked with Jesse Marsch at RB Salzburg before the manager moved across to Leipzig – and the obvious American connection, it’s easy to see why these transfer links have appeared and seem to make a lot of sense.

And so, if Adams really is pushing for a move to the Premier League, he may well be tempted to join the team that has that Red Bull link as well as a few familiar American faces.

Which comedian supports the Whites?

The 23-year-old has 27 caps for his national team, while he also was a regular in the Champions League last term, so there can be little doubting his quality.

With all that in mind, a move to England could suit him well, but it remains unclear as to whether or not Leeds and Marsch could tempt him with their project – if they do indeed want to sign the player themselves.
