Leeds United supporters may have been left worried by footage to emerge on Twitter following their draw on Sunday afternoon at Elland Road.

Amid the Yorkshire club’s concerns regarding their Premier League survival, there are strong reports linking Kalvin Phillips with a potential move away in the summer window.

Do you think Phillips will leave this summer?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Phillips still has two years remaining on his current deal with the Whites, however, if January was anything to go by, this summer could see him being chased by a number of Premier League sides.

And following the game when the fans had left Elland Road, Phillips was spotted by journalist Jonathan Buchan taking what looked like an emotional walk on the pitch with his mother.

Sunday’s game was the final home game of the season for the Whites, with a trip to Brentford to come in the final game in the Whites’ Premier League season as they seek to secure survival.

With the fans having made their way out of Elland Road, Buchan tweeted out the video of Phillips and his mother, captioned with:

“Kalvin Phillips shares a big embrace with his mum. This is after spending over half an hour signing autographs and taking photos with young supporters.”

TIF Thoughts on the footage…

Naturally, as is the case at all clubs, friends and family of the players take to the pitch on the final home game of the season, so in that sense, there does not seem too much wrong.

However, with all the fans having left Elland Road by this stage, it does make you wonder whether there is more to it with the reports linking him to a move away.

It has been a difficult campaign for Phillips, who suffered a big injury setback causing him to miss a big chunk of the season, but we are sure this footage may leave Leeds fans worried about his future in LS11.
