Fabrizio Romano has dropped an interesting update on Paul Pogba’s Manchester United future while speaking on the Que Golazo YouTube channel.

There was a flurry of reports in the last few days that Pogba was being eyed up by Manchester United’s city rivals as a signing in the summer when he becomes a free agent, although that appears unlikely as the midfielder has now seemingly turned down an approach by the Premier League champions.

Will Man United regret it if Pogba leaves?

Yes!

No!

Pogba is said to have interest from a whole host of European clubs including PSG and Juventus, but there has still not yet actually been confirmation from the Frenchman’s side that he will definitely be leaving Old Trafford this summer, although Romano believes it’s been decided.

The Italian journalist has revealed the stance of Manchester United when it comes to Pogba’s future.

(3:33) “Manchester United, they’ve received no communication from Paul Pogba and their contract proposal is still on the table since July 2021 so it’s almost one year since they made the proposal and still no answer on Paul Pogba’s side, so they feel that it’s over.”

Manchester United fans, do you remember how many points you picked up in seasons gone by? Let's find out, starting with 2020/21

The Frenchman, amazingly, is set to leave Man United on a free transfer for the second time already in his career after what has been a bumpy time at Old Trafford having only picked up two different trophies during this stint with the Red Devils managing just 90 goal involvements in 229 appearances during his second time in Manchester.

With Erik ten Hag set to take over at Man United in the summer, this could well be why Pogba has not come out and aid what he will be doing in the summer a the new manager could still potentially persuade the midfielder to be part of his project, although that still remains unlikely considering that the people within the club already feel it’s over, as Romano claimed.
