Representatives of Richarlison are said to be searching for a new home for the Everton forward according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

It has been a dismal campaign for the Toffees and despite their vast investment of over £500m on transfers since February 2016, they find themselves embroiled in a fight for Premier League survival.

Recent reports from Football Insider suggest the Merseysiders are aware of their significant financial losses in recent years and that they are willing to listen to offers for Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin regardless of whether they stay in the division or not.

According to Jones, the Brazilian’s entourage are already working to find the 24-year-old a new club with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United quoted as potential suitors. Arsenal has also been touted as a potential destination in the past.

He told GIVEMESPORT:

“I know with Richarlison, people working on behalf of him are sounding out potential new homes for him. PSG looked like it might have opened up for him last year; not sure that’s still going to be the case, but it is there. Arsenal is one, and there’ll be a couple of others, too.”

TIF Thoughts on Richarlison…

Will Everton stay up?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Richarlison signed from Watford in 2018 in a deal believed to be worth up to £50m but is said to have outlined his intent to leave Goodison Park and despite the prospect of losing their leading goalscorer, the Toffees could benefit.

The blue half of Merseyside have been lucky to escape sanctions for their financial struggles and it could be a case this off-season of balancing the books.

Lampard has shown before at Derby what he can do with a young squad and his ‘legacy’ of blooding through youth at Chelsea will benefit future managers in west London but in his first pre-season on Merseyside, he and his employers will need to seriously consider how best to approach next year.

If they do stay up it would make planning and the recruitment of new players easier but either way, it seems as if Richarlison is intent on leaving.
