Journalist Josh Holland doesn’t think that Aston Villa Morgan Sanson will play for the club again and will be moved on this summer.

The Mirror’s Neil Moxley recently claimed that up to eight Villa players could be sold this summer with Gerrard hoping for a reshuffle.

Sanson, who is valued at £12.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), signed under Dean Smith on a five-year contract in January of last year but it is thought the club will cut their losses and let him leave at the end of the season after “failing to do their homework.”

Interestingly, it has now been claimed by journalist Josh Holland that Morgan Sanson may have played his last game for the club.

He told GIVEMESPORT:

“It’s whether a club will want to come in to buy them. That’s the problem that every football club has. If someone’s got an underperforming player, is someone going to come in and get them, unless you sell them for a cut price. But, I think we could have seen the last of them.”

TIF Thoughts on Sanson and Villa…

With Villa seeking a new midfielder as one of their top priorities this summer and it seems as if Sanson’s days are numbered.

Kalvin Phillips of Leeds and Brighton’s Yves Bissouma have both been linked while interest in PSV’s Ibrahim Sangare is thought to be intensifying.

As Holland alluded to retrieving an offer could be a stumbling block, especially as there’s not really been anything on display at Villa Park that would warrant a club swooping in for the midfielder.
