Leeds United supporters will have been left impressed by the footage to emerge on Twitter on Monday night from Crysencio Summerville’s impressive display at Elland Road.

The U23s side ran out comfortable victors in Yorkshire on Monday against Crystal Palace as the Dutch winger stole the show, with Jesse Marsch watching on from the stands.

Summerville helped himself to a hat-trick as he doubled his tally for the season in the Premier League 2 having featured between the senior side and U23s this season (via Transfermarkt).

Footage emerged on the Leeds Twitter account showing how the 20-year-old opened his account inside the opening minutes with a stunning striker from the left wing.

The Dutchman cut inside onto his right foot before curling the ball past the Palace goalkeeper into the far top corner from just outside the box.

TIF Thoughts on the footage…

Scoring a hat-trick is certainly an impressive achievement in its own right, however, to do it in such style will certainly please the on-watching Marsch.

Summerville has made a handful of appearances for the senior side this season in the Premier League, but none of them have come under the American manager (via Transfermarkt).

With the Whites eight points ahead of the drop zone, could Marsch look to integrate Summerville into the starting XI if safety is guaranteed in the coming weeks?

Having been linked with a potential move in the January window, this footage may encourage Leeds fans to see the winger putting a claim down for a spot in Marsch’s squad.
