How well do you remember where Rangers' signings came in from down the years? Take our quiz to find out! First up, Carlos Pena was the Gers' most expensive arrival during the summer of 2017, but where did he join from?

19-year-old Diallo made the switch north of the border during the winter transfer window as Giovanni van Bronckhorst looked to add extra ability down the flanks to his squad. He started well enough, scoring on his debut in a 3-3 draw with Ross County, but has struggled to back up that performance.

Speaking to GiveMeSport about the Gers’ winter business, Bridge did not pull any punches when discussing the Ivory Coast international. He said: “Rangers’ signings in January – Diallo from Man United has been non-existent. Ramsey hasn’t really worked yet, even though he scored in the Old Firm, he’s been so stop-start. Ultimately, the players they bought in January have not stepped up.”

TIF Thoughts on Diallo…

That display against Ross County will have filled both Van Bronckhorst and the Rangers supporters with excitement. The £16.2m-valued teenager was lively, not afraid to have a shot, and bagged the strike he deserved. However, it has really only been downhill since then.

In fact, he has only made a further seven appearances, including just three more starts. He has not even played a minute during Rangers’ Europa League run, and it has all in all been a transfer to forget. Just because he plays for one of the biggest teams on the planet in Manchester United, does not mean performing in Scotland was ever a given.

Although no one at Ibrox will wish him ill, they will perhaps not be too disappointed to see the back of him when he returns to Old Trafford once the season is over.
