Celtic kept one hand firmly on the Scottish Premiership title after battling past Ross County at the Global Energy Stadium 2-0.

The goals came either side of the match for the Hoops. Kyogo Furuhashi put Ange Postecoglou’s side ahead after just 12 minutes, with the second goal seeming hard to come by. Then up stepped Jota after 87 minutes to double the lead for Celtic and secure the points.

Will James Forrest be at Celtic next season?

It could have been much more comfortable for the visitors, with Furuhashi having a goal ruled out for offside in the first half, although images from the game suggest it may have been the wrong decision.

Everything Celtic grabbed a screenshot from the game and shared it on Twitter (aired live on Sky Sports), with Furuhashi appearing onside.

The Ross County defender appears to have his back leg deep enough to be playing the Japanese forward on, if he is, then the Celtic fans will have been fuming, with the goal looking perfectly legal. VAR can’t come quick enough to Scottish football!

Which season did Roy Keane join the Hoops?

Granted, it isn’t the perfect angle to see with 100% certainty, but he does looks onside from the shared image. The main thing for the Celtic fans will be that they managed to get the three points regardless of that decision, if Ross County were to have snatched a late equaliser, the story could well have been different.
