Rangers fans will be loving Fashion Sakala’s Instagram message to their opponents after the Gers’ Old Firm victory.
The Gers managed to record a very important and impressive Old Firm victory on Sunday in the Scottish Cup semi-final when Fashion Sakala came off the bench to have a hand in the winner in extra time after Rangers initially fell behind.
Is Sakala a Rangers cult hero?

No!
The winner came just six minutes from the game heading into penalties and it was Sakala’s challenge that caused Celtic’s Carl Starfelt to turn the ball into his own net.
Sakala has now taken to Instagram to post a picture of him getting up to celebrate while a load of Celtic players are still on the floor trying to recover and process what just happened, with the caption: “Pic of the day. I’m still standing while others need an ambulance.”

After arriving as a free agent over the summer, Sakala has gone on to be a valuable member of the Rangers squad with 10 goals and three assists across all competitions, but none will have been more important than the one he helped bring about on Sunday.
His performance and the part he played in the winner will no doubt help endear him further to the Rangers fans, but to then publicly call out and mock Celtic players for not being able to match his intensity and forcing them to watch on as he celebrated around them will surely have Gers fans laughing all day.
