Celtic are preparing for an Old Firm derby yet again this weekend, knowing a win would all but secure the league title, taking it away from the arch-rivals’ trophy room and over to Celtic Park.

One big question about the Celtic starting team will be the fitness of Kyogo Furuhashi. The Japanese international has featured in the last three games for Celtic, scoring against Ross County last time out. However, he is yet to complete a full 90 minutes since being injured in December.

Will Celtic win on Sunday?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

So that will leave Ange Postecoglou with options up top – does he start with Furuhashi and see how many minutes he gets through, or will he give someone else the nod?

Digital journalist @CraigCelt has dropped the following claim on the clash, writing on Twitter: “Ange likes a bit of misdirection at times. However, to take his chat with Sky Sports at face value today, my gut says he will start with Kyogo on Sunday.”

TIF Thoughts on Ange Postecoglou’s selection dilemma at Celtic…

Postecoglou had recently revealed to Sky Sports that either Kyogo or Giorgos Giakoumakis could start at Parkhead – while also refusing to rule the prospect of fielding both players from kick-off.

You’d imagine that if Furuhashi is fit, then he will start. He has been one of the main threats for the Hoops this season, scoring 17 goals and recording five assists in his 29 games, proving to be a real danger in the opposition box for Postecoglou this campaign thus far.

Also, for the biggest game of the season, you want your best players available, so it is perhaps likely that we will see Furuhashi feature one way or another.
