Ruben Neves has taken to Instagram to send an encouraging three-word message to Wolves fans.

Wolves fans and Bruno Lage would have been devastated a few weeks ago when influential midfielder Neves was ruled for a number of weeks due to a knee injury, however, they didn’t seem to miss him too much in their previous match against Aston Villa as they won 2-1 at Molineux.

In his latest press conference, Lage confirmed that they will have to wait and see if Neves is able to play some part in the remainder of the season, with his injury not as serious as first feared – which will be massive news as Wolves look to finish in a European spot this season.

Neves has had a standout campaign, starting in all but five league games and racking up the second-most goal contributions, and that has been recognised as he’s won the club’s latest Player of the Month accolade, posting a picture of himself with the award, telling Wolves fans that he will ‘see you soon’ – potentially hinting towards a quicker return than normal.

TIF Thoughts on Neves’ Wolves future…

While Neves has been a standout performer for Wolves this season in their stunning push for Europe, that has come at a cost, with clubs such as Manchester United being linked with a move for the midfielder.

It is not just standard paper talk either, with David Ornstein of The Athletic reporting that while Wolves would love to keep Neves and get him to sign a new contract, they are also open to the idea of selling on someone who is now into their fifth season with the Midlands side.

But if there’s any hope for Neves staying at Molineux, the fact he hopes to see the fans soon suggests he may not have taken to the pitch in a Wolves shirt for the last time.
