Insider ExWHUemployee has revealed that West Ham United have already begun talks with Keane Lewis-Potter.

With the Premier League season coming towards an end, some thoughts have already turned towards the summer transfer market as the rumour mill begins to churn more steadily.

Indeed, West Ham have recently been linked with a move for the Hull City winger, with David Moyes said to have scouted him in person earlier this month in the Championship.

Stepping up the intensity of such claims, Ex has now revealed that talks have already started between the east London club and the player’s agent.

Addressing the topic on The West Ham Way podcast, he explained: “Open talks have already started between his agent and stuff, and getting to know what figures there would be.

“In terms of opening offers, we won’t be able to start that until the window opens, really.

“But we can have provisional talks with Hull, but it won’t amount to anything until the window is obviously open.”

TIF Thoughts on Keane Lewis-Potter and West Ham…

With 11 goals and four assists to his name this term, it’s easy to see why the player has been catching the eye while playing with Hull. His form has also helped the side stay comfortably above the relegation zone.

Still only 21 years of age, Moyes must clearly feel the player can develop into something special. If not, he wouldn’t have scouted him in person or given the green light for talks to commence with the player’s agent before the current season has even ended.

Despite his young age, Lewis-Potter still has plenty of good experience. Indeed, he lifted silverware when he was part of the Hull side to win League One last year. On top of that, he has 120 senior appearances to his name, with 29 goals and 12 assists.

Considering the player’s talent and the notable interest, it certainly looks as though this deal could get across the line in the near future.
