Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Parrott may well have caught the eye of manager Antonio Conte after his latest goal.
Last summer, the Spurs striker joined League One outfit MK Dons on loan for a season. Now deep into his spell with the club, it seems things are going pretty well.
Indeed, earlier this week, Parrott played a key role in a 2-1 win over Crewe Alexandra which saw his side move second in the division. Most notably, though, he scored the opening goal of the game with a delicious lob after being played through on goal.
Soccer AM shared the clip on Instagram, and Parrott later added it to his own story.

Still only 20 years of age, the hierarchy at Spurs will likely be glad to see him developing well. In 35 league appearances, he has helped MK Dons push for promotion with five goals and six assists – showing he knows how to do both sides of the game well.
Back in February, he was also called ‘sensational’ by the MK Citizen when he was named as the Man of the Match after a 2-0 win at Bolton Wanderers.
The report said: “Took hit after hit, but kept getting up and asking for more. Great on the ball, unselfish, made great runs, dropped deep and added a body defensively too. A sensational all-round game.”
Of course, this is not the first time he has made headlines in recent times as he scored a stunning goal in the 97th minute of a game for the Republic of Ireland in the past international break.
Add to that this latest glimpse of quality, and manager Conte may well have to consider Parrott as a first-team option next season when he returns from loan.
In fact, with respected journalist Alasdair Gold recently claiming Tottenham want to sign a new striker in the summer transfer market, this eye-catching moment may have been a timely reminder for Conte to not look past what he already has just yet.
