Antonio Conte’s side went on a second half onslaught as Matt Doherty, Heung Min-Son, Emerson Royal and Steven Bergwijn all found the back of the net to ensure a dominant victory via a 5-1 scoreline.

Although the attack will rightly get plenty of praise, Cristian Romero stood out to Sky Sports’ Peter Smith, he had the following to say on the Argentinian: “Romero is having a stormer today!”

Romero was crucial for Spurs, making seven tackles and winning 9/14 of his duels. He had 94 touches of the ball, had a pass success rating of 94% only losing possession five times, showing his reliability throughout the game in making sure Spurs kept the ball and didn’t lose it in any silly situations.
