Fabinho has poked fun at Richarlison and his club after Liverpool picked up three points in the Merseyside derby.

The Reds dominated and controlled the entirety of the Merseyside derby and got their just rewards in the second half when Andy Robertson and Divock Origi netted to hand Jurgen Klopp’s men a much-needed three points in the title race.

Will Liverpool win the Premier League?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

However, with it being a derby, it wasn’t a very straightforward win for Liverpool and it certainly got feisty with seven players picking up a caution and Fabinho at the centre of an on-pitch melee in the first half.

There was a flare-up when Everton’s Richarlison flung himself to the ground after Thiago seemingly touched the attacker every so softly and remained down, however, Liverpool decided against putting the ball out, and this angered the Toffees with Abdoulaye Doucoure kicking out at the midfielder twice before eventually hacking him down.

Fabinho clearly wasn’t a fan of his countrymen’s actions during the game with the midfielder posting a picture of Richarlison holding his face on the way to the ground while running behind Liverpool’s midfielder in a separate incident.

How well do you know these Liverpool squad numbers? Starting off with an easy one: Mo Salah

Liverpool’s Brazilian imposed himself on the Merseyside derby and put in a very impressive display with 93 touches and a 100% dribble completion, while triggering 18 pressures and making one tackle (FBRef) – an almost perfect midfield destructive display.

Fabinho also played the entire 90 minutes, which will have been very irritating for Frank Lampard and Richarlison, who clearly was trying his best, along with every trick in the book to get into the heads of many Liverpool players with his antics during the match.
