Young Leeds United talent Crysencio Summerville has sent new manager Jesse Marsch a bold message online after his latest display.

Earlier this week, the Dutch winger scored a hat-trick as the club’s U23 team cruised to a 4-0 home win over Crystal Palace in their Premier League 2 match.

The goals would have obviously made headlines in Yorkshire anyway, but one effort in particular drew attention, with Summerville’s stunning solo effort being shared online by the club’s official Twitter account.

After the game, he took to Instagram to share some photos of himself from the match. However, he also sent out a fearless caption that may have caught the eye of Marsch.

He wrote: “This Chapter of My Life Is Called “MY TURN”.”

TIF Thoughts on Crysencio Summerville and Leeds…

Under former Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa, Summerville had made some headway with regard to his progression into the senior team, playing eight times for the Argentinian.

However, he is yet to play even a single minute of senior football under Marsch – spending all his time on the bench of late – and this may explain why he added such a bold statement to his Instagram post.

That he is in the matchday squad on a regular basis does at least suggest he is close to making an appearance. Add to that this eye-catching outing with the academy side, and we may well see Summerville in the senior team again sooner rather than later.
