Danny Mills has been speaking live on Sky Sports about Leeds United and their battle against relegation.

Leeds have managed to turn their season around in the last few weeks, with Jesse Marsch guiding his side on a four-game unbeaten run which has included wins against relegation rivals Norwich City and Watford, helping them move clear of the bottom three.

Will Leeds be relegated?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

However, the problem for Leeds is that Everton and Burnley both have two games in hand on the Whites, which if the latter won them, would see Marsch’s side sit just three points above the drop zone.

This is why Mills believes that Leeds are still in a “precarious situation”, with the former player going on to say: “If Everton win both their games in hand, Burnley win both their games in hand, then, of course, Leeds get sucked right back into it. But I think just looking at Leeds’ run-in, which certainly isn’t easy… it could easily come down to those last two games at the end of the season.”

Fans will surely be hoping Mills is wrong about it going to the wire, with Leeds’ final two fixtures seeing the Whites face Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion.

This was a low point in Leeds United's history, but how many points did they get in the 2003/04 campaign?

TIF Thoughts on Leeds’ chances of survival…

While Leeds and their fanbase will be happy and comfortable with a nine-point buffer to the bottom three, knowing they will have to sit and watch on as Burnley and Everton play their games in hand over the next few days will not be so comfortable and only makes their recent run of form even more important.

If Leeds manage to stay up, Marsch will deserve a huge amount of credit for coming into a club that adored their former manager and the unique style of play that he offered and turning their entire season around, as before him they had one win in seven games and now are four unbeaten.
