Leeds United supporters may not like what Mateusz Klich was caught doing (via Sky Sports) before he was substituted last night.

The Whites managed to grind out a hard-fought 0-0 draw away to Crystal Palace, which has seen them move five points clear of the bottom three, although they were certainly up against it, with Illan Meslier pulling off seven saves and the Eagles boasting 53% of possession.

Should Klich be dropped by Marsch?

While a point isn’t the perfect result for Leeds, Jesse Marsch admitted that he was happy with it at the end of the night, but he didn’t appear to be very joyous in the first half as he hooked Klich at half-time for Robin Koch.

This may well have had something to do with the argument they appeared to have on the touchline during the first half, with Klich and Marsch exchanging words before the midfielder appeared to throw his water bottle on the ground as the manager shrugged his shoulders while pointing out onto the field.

TIF Thoughts on Klich…

This was a low point in Leeds United's history, but how many points did they get in the 2003/04 campaign?

This is not the sort of footage that Leeds United fans will be wanting to see, a player appearing to be arguing with the manager and potentially questioning his role and tactics, which may well have led to his early withdrawal last night, so it will certainly be interesting to see whether or not Klich starts this weekend for the Whites.

If Leeds are to ensure they beat off this tight relegation scrap, they need every player to be on board with what Marsch is trying to implement and bring to the side, as it is certainly working with the Whites on a five-game unbeaten run.
