Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has taken to Instagram to provide supporters with an encouraging message ahead of their Premier League run-in.

Spurs now sit outside the European spots in the Premier League table with a six-point gap now between the Lilywhites and the final Champions League spot.

Tottenham face Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday night as they look to bounce back from their defeat on Saturday evening against Manchester United.

And the Italian posted a number of photos to Instagram on Tuesday morning showing him interacting with his Spurs players ahead of their trip to the south coast.

Conte was fairly upbeat after the defeat on the weekend after claiming it was not a bad showing, and he captioned his Instagram post with: “It’s not an easy road, but we’re on the right way”.

The first image posted by the 52-year-old showed the Italian smiling at Hotspur Way despite their lack of consistency since the turn of the year.

There has been some speculation surrounding Conte’s future and whether he would potentially depart the north London club before the end of the season.

However, he made it clear in his post-game press conference on the weekend he is willing to be patient at Spurs but he needs the owners to match his ambition in the summer transfer window:

“I have patience, I like to work. I like the work that we’re doing. At the same time, I don’t want to lose my ambition. This must be very clear to everybody. I repeat that I hope we are in the same way,” he said at Old Trafford.

With just 11 games of the 2021/22 campaign remaining, Spurs sit slumped in eighth spot of the table but do still hold two games in hand over the three sides above them.

It does feel like the top four has slipped away from them but the game against Brighton could provide them with a huge confidence boost as Arsenal face Liverpool on the same night.
