Tottenham Hotspur entertained West Ham United in a real ‘six pointer’ in the race for a top four finish. It was a day to remember as they beat fellow Champions League hopefuls West Ham 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs raced into a two goal lead thanks to an own goal from Kurt Zouma and a strike from Heung-min Son, before a Said Benrahma goal cut the deficit to one before the interval.

Son was on hand late in the day to seal the three points however and to double his tally for the afternoon, making it 3-1.

Reporting for Sky Sports’ live commentary, Sam Blitz was full of praise for Son’s finish, he reported: “Stunning from Harry Kane there to link up with his favoured partner. Both him and Son are enjoying getting the ball in the pockets of West Ham’s midfield, before turning and driving at the backline. It’s where that Dawson yellow card attack derived from and now that second goal. Take nothing away from the finish, with the crowd gasping at that replay on the big screen. Son had an awful lot to do there and he found the only place Fabianski couldn’t reach.”

Son was in inspired form all day, taking the Man of the Match as per SofaScore.com. He also scored both of his shots on target in a truly clinical performance.
