Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier took to Instagram to update the fans on his recovery, and injured midfielder Issac Hayden displayed his thoughts in the comments.
Trippier featured just four times in the Premier League for his new side before fracturing a bone in his foot, and it started so well for the English right-back after he was unbeaten in a Magpies shirt in the league and scored two impressive free-kicks.
Although Trippier has been sidelined since mid-February, Newcastle have continued their impressive form as they have lost just twice in the six games the full-back has been absent for.
Hayden has also been sidelined for a lengthy period and was not named in Eddie Howe’s 25-man Premier League squad in January.
After the pairing have had to watch their side from the stands in recent times, Hayden showed his love towards Trippier after the right-back posted an update on his recovery on Instagram, giving him a virtual round of applause.

Trippier is 31 years old and brings heaps of experience to Newcastle – he has played 111 times in the Premier League and may be key in the future for Newcastle as they want to push on and progress as a club.
It will be a massive boost for Eddie Howe to get Trippier back before the end of the season as it will give him a clearer view of how he works in his side as he looks to bring in a new haul of players in the summer.
