Journalist Taylor Payne has reacted to the latest photo that has emerged of Newcastle striker Callum Wilson looking in tip-top condition.
Callum Wilson, unfortunately, got injured against Manchester United in December when he picked up a calf injury and has been sidelined since, BBC Sport.
Wilson was in good goal-scoring form before his injury and remains Newcastle’s top scorer with six goals, despite not playing a single game yet this year.
Taylor Payne took to Twitter to discuss the picture and captioned his tweet, “Sweet baby Jesus. What a specimen. #nufc.”

Callum Wilson has been working hard to get back to full fitness after missing a lengthy period on the sideline due to injury. In January, Newcastle signed Chris Wood to fill the boots of Wilson whilst he is absent.
Although Newcastle are is in fine form and it looks very likely that they will secure Premier League safety in the coming weeks, and they have lost just one game in their last eight Premier League fixtures.
With the Saudi takeover, a haul of players have been linked to a move to St James’s Park, and with the ambitions of the club, Wilson may well be one of the players who could see his game time limited due to a big name coming in during the summer.
However, Wilson will be keen to get back fighting fit (as seen in the photo) before the end of the season, so he can prove to the club that he deserves to be there and in the side next season.
