Journalist Paul Brown has said that rumours of Liverpool being interested in Bukayo Saka are bizarre due to the players that Klopp already has in that position.

Bukayo Saka has been superb for Arsenal this campaign, after scoring eight goals and registering five assists in 26 Premier League games, according to Transfermarkt.

This good form for the Gunners has attracted the attention of many clubs, including Liverpool who are interested in bringing the 20-year-old to Anfield.

Paul Brown has told GIVEMESPORT that he “cannot believe” the interest from Liverpool concerning Saka after they have already got a handful of players occupying that area of the pitch.

“I cannot believe that Liverpool would be in the market for Saka to add to what they’ve already got there. They’ve just got a logjam in that position,” Brown said.

TIF Thoughts on the Liverpool transfer rumour…

Bukayo Saka has an average player rating of 7.05 over his last five Premier League games, awarded to him by Sofascore.

Although the youngster has produced this impressive form, Jurgen Klopp is starting to become clustered in that area of the pitch, so may not need the 20-year-old, with Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Harvey Elliott, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane all having the ability to play out wide if needed.

Although this may seem like a good problem to have, bringing in these talents may hinder young players such as Harvey Elliot’s game time, which could put a halt to his progression as a player.

However, Mohamed Salah has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield, so Klopp may just be preparing for the Egyptian’s exit, by bringing in several replacements, such as Luis Diaz and now potentially Bukayo Saka.
