Journalist Tom Barclay has claimed that Tayo Adaramola is ready for the physical side of men’s football and also had identified some of his weaknesses.

Tayo Adaramola is an 18-year-old defender who has featured twice in the FA Cup and once in the EFL Trophy for Crystal Palace this campaign, as per Tranfsermarkt.

Adaramola made his full professional debut in the FA Cup against Stoke City, as he helped his side secure a place in the next round of the Cup after they won 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

Tom Barclay spoke to GIVEMESPORT and had his say on the 18-year-olds potential as a first-team player, whilst identifying what he needs to improve.

“Adaramola, as I’m told, has got fantastic athleticism, all the physical attributes which will make him be able to deal with men’s football already and he is very good going forward. Now he just needs to improve the other side of the game – the technical and tactical side – which all young players need to and that will come with more game time, but he is someone that they are very excited about.” Barclay said.

TIF Thoughts on Tayo Adaramola…

The 18-year-old unfortunately plays in a position that is already firmly occupied, by Tyrick Mitchell, who has started every single one of Crystal Palace’s 28 Premier League games this season.

Patrick Vieira has already shown his youth policy this season, whilst opting to play Conor Gallagher and Michael Olise regularly, so it is encouraging times for the young players at Selhurst Park. But if Adaramola wants to get some regular first-team minutes, then he may have to look elsewhere for a loan move.
