Football writer Charles Watts has dished out glowing praise for Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka after his most recent display.

Indeed, the talented 20-year-old claimed an assist and a goal as the Gunners earned a 3-2 away victory against Watford in the Premier League at Vicarage Road.

On the day, it’s fair to say Saka terrorised the Hornets backline, especially in the first half when he made his two goal contributions.

Watts certainly seemed to think as much. Speaking on his YouTube channel, he claimed the opposition players were ‘scared’ of the winger.

He said: “Bukayo Saka, Man of the Match for me. Goal and assist, just brilliant throughout. Caused Watford so many problems.

“Every time he got the ball, you could see how scared they were of him. Great performance from Bukayo Saka. He gets a nine [out of ten] and my Man of the Match.”

Up to this point in the season, Saka has been a key part of the Arsenal team that has incidentally just moved into fourth spot as they push for Champions League football next season.

Indeed, the Englishman has played in 25 Premier League games, scoring eight times and adding a further five assists. Taking all that into account, it’s easy to understand Watts was so prepared to claim the Watford players feared coming up against the right-winger.

Is Bukayo Saka already one of the best players in the Premier League?

It’s safe to say left-back Hassane Kamara particularly didn’t find life easy taking on the England man, with HertsLive saying the defender ‘had a tough time’ against Saka.

The future certainly looks bright for the 20-year-old.
