Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Pedro Neto has dropped a potentially big hint on Instagram regarding his return from injury.

The Portuguese ace suffered a fractured kneecap back in April during an away victory against Fulham, which has seen him sidelined ever since.

Will Wolves qualify for Europe this season?

Speaking to the club’s media team, Bruno Lage revealed back in January that Neto was just a few weeks away from returning to the side.

And on Wednesday, the 21-year-old posted an update on his Instagram story, with a photo of him in training captioned with a high-five emoji.

The image showed him jogging during a training session with a considerable amount of physio tape applied to his left knee and his right thigh.

Neto’s return would come as a welcome one, with the Old Gold struggling massively in front of goal this season, with only Norwich City (14) and Burnley (17) scoring less often than the side from Molineux (19).

The winger was beginning to find his feet in the Premier League last season before his injury, scoring five goals and providing six assists before his last game against Fulham (via Transfermarkt).

Despite Wolves’ struggles this season in front of goal, Lage’s side are flying in the league thanks to their solid defensive outfit, with a spot in Europe a real possibility.

With a game against Arsenal coming up on Thursday night, Wolves could go into their match at the weekend against Tottenham Hotspur sitting as high as sixth.

And what a time to be able to bring one of your star players back from injury. If Wolves are able to get through the next two games unscathed, Neto’s return will certainly be a huge boost for their European hopes.
