A club insider has revealed West Ham United have been ‘looking at’ attacking midfielder Scott Twine as a possible transfer.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has been one of the shining lights in League One this season, scoring 13 goals and adding a further nine assists in 32 outings for MK Dons.

It seems as though his form has not gone unnoticed, either, with Ex stating that the Premier League outfit are watching Twine with a very real interest.
Speaking on The West Ham Way podcast, he said: “Scott Twine is an attacking midfielder at MK Dons. He is someone else that we’ve been looking at.”
After mentioning other targets, he then concluded: “So these are all players that have been largely talked about outside of West Ham circles. But I can say that West Ham are aware of these players and have shown an interest in watching a number of them.”

Interestingly enough, West Ham youngster Conor Coventry is currently on loan with MK Dons for the rest of the season. With that in mind, the club’s scouts and staff would have had plenty of opportunities to watch Twine play, and so it makes sense that he has caught the eye.
The player’s development has been clear, too. Indeed, having had 22 league goal involvements this season – more than anyone at West Ham, including top scorer and assister Jarrod Bowen (18) – he has already topped his tally of seven goals and three assists in the division from last term. Of course, if he was to end up at West Ham, he would have to make the step up and adjust to a much tougher league.
And still being fairly young, there’s every chance he could become even better over the next few seasons if he can continue on such a trajectory. Only time will tell as to whether or not the Hammers will take a chance on the talent.
