As per usual, the Leeds United players took to social media to post their condolences and messages of support for their now former boss, with ex-Whites outcast Jean-Kevin Augustin posting this on his Twitter:
A lovely message from the former White who was never really fancied at Elland Road by Bielsa himself, only appearing three times. The contract woes off the field between Leeds and RB Leipzig overshadowed the player and his time at Elland Road.
Given the nature of his time there too, it’s a touch of class from the Frenchman and it shows what he thinks of the Argentine boss. It would be easy to just say nothing so it shows what an impact Bielsa had on Augustin in his short stint in Yorkshire.
It looks like Jesse Marsch is set to take over, with Leeds looking to salvage their season before it’s too late.
