A large number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been sharing their anger at the performance of Japhet Tanganga on Wednesday night.
Should Spurs sell Tanganga this month?
Yes
No
Antonio Conte’s side took all three points in sensational fashion with Steven Bergwijn scoring two injury-time goals to see Spurs come from behind to win 3-2.
The win at the King Power Stadium sees Spurs leapfrog Arsenal into fifth place and just one point behind fourth-placed West Ham United with three games in hand.
However, it was apparent not all of their fans were satisfied with the performances of their players with Tanganga taking the brunt of the criticism.
What did these fans have to say?
“Tanganga by far our worst player & the weakest link. Again.”
The 22-year-old was making his 10th Premier League appearance of the campaign but was involved in the Leicester winner with the James Maddison’s shot deflecting off him and beyond Hugo Lloris.
His display against the Foxes warranted a mere 5/10 rating by Alasdair Gold who described the centre-back’s display as ‘shaky’ and ‘sloppy’.
Tanganga had spent the previous two Premier League games on the bench and it seems these fans would like to see him return to the bench for their clash against Chelsea on the weekend.
