Derby County fans have been reacting as footage from their game at the weekend was revealed on social media.
Despite seemingly being given no hope of staying up following their points deductions earlier in the season, Wayne Rooney’s side are certainly not going down without a fight.
They came away 2-0 winners this past weekend against Sheffield United, with both goals coming from captain Tom Lawrence in a result that moved them off the bottom of the Championship table for the first time since 22nd September.
The two goals themselves were quite impressive, but given the circumstances, they meant all that much more to the Derby fans at Pride Park on the day.
The club posted footage on their social media that of the goal and the fans behind the net so that you could really focus on the fans’ reactions, and it generated some rather exciting responses from the Rams supporters on social media:
“That millisecond of quiet as everyone holds there breath before the ball hits the net – then boom!!! Not a better sound. Also check out TL celebrating before the ball hits the net for the second. He knew as soon as it left his boot”
