A collection of Celtic fans have reacted with delight after seeing footage of Reo Hatate after making his debut for the club.
In the current January transfer market, the Bhoys have already pulled off a number of new signings. Some of those players managed to impress on their first starts for the Scottish side recently, with Daizen Maeda opening his Hoops account within four minutes.
Meanwhile, Hatate also helped his side claim a 2-0 win in the league against Hibernian. At the end of the game, the Japanese international was named man of the match.
Now, in footage shared online by Twitter user NaCeiltighAbú / BrenCelt, Hatate was caught on camera with a look of disbelief on his face when appearing to be told by teammate James Forrest that he had been given the accolade.

It’s clear to see from such positive comments that Hatate has already endeared himself to his new set of fans. In fairness, the quizzical look he gives Forrest when he is told he was named Man of the Match certainly displays a likeable quality of humility.
No doubt, the midfielder will be aiming to impress even more as he becomes acquainted with life in Scotland playing for his new club.
