Celtic fans have been reacting to footage of their new signing Matt O’Riley that the club posted on social media.
One thing that you can’t accuse Celtic of doing is being inactive during the transfer window under Ange Postecoglou, as the club have been incredibly busy when it comes to players coming and going under the Australian.
Their latest signing saw them bring in English midfielder O’Riley, someone who at one point was reportedly being scouted by the likes of Borussia Dortmund while he was at Fulham ahead of his move to MK Dons.
Now, he is at Celtic Park and is already getting into the swing of things as he gets used to being around Postecoglou’s men in their hopes of catching Rangers and bagging the Scottish Premiership title.
The club posted footage of him in training at Lennoxtown on their Instagram account, which was then relayed onto their Twitter page for fans to react to, where it generated some interesting responses, with some hoping to see him make his debut in their upcoming game against Hearts:
“Start him on Wednesday please”

Whether or not he does get the nod will be up to Postecoglou, but it looks as if these fans are getting rather excited at the prospect of seeing him in the famous green and white hoops.
