A whole host of Celtic fans are furious on Twitter following the SFA’s latest decision.

Celtic battled their way through their latest fixture in the SFA Cup against Alloa Athletic, but it came at a cost, with the Bhoys having to see their captain Callum McGregor go off early because of a facial injury.

Will Celtic win the league?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

That was not the only controversial decision, with Ange Postecoglou recently claiming he told his players to not go in for tackles due to how hard the opposition were seemingly going in on his players, and this included a tackle on Yosuke Ideguchi, who was on the end of a late crunching challenge from Mouhamed Niang, for which he received a yellow card.

However, the SFA has stepped in and claimed it will look at the tackle retrospectively, potentially handing out a suspension, although this doesn’t benefit Celtic now, despite the tackle happening on their own player.

Many Celtic fans are fuming on Twitter with this news as they wanted the referee to make the right decision during the game.

What have these Celtic fans been saying?

“No use to us now as he’s done the damage, another retrospective red against Don Robertson”

@Kevibhoy74

“The damage is done, should have been a red card at the time.”

@carol2244m

“No even any point tbh”

@Jack98Uptherebs

“Any chance of the referees doing their jobs and sending them off at the time?”

@Shaunmcd21

“Retrospective nonsense Should have been ordered off”

@BernardMelvill3

“Door and horse bolted. Disgrace the tackle didn’t merit the appropriate punishment at the time. Still go and bite their legs were the instructions from wee bitter bazaa the bankrupt”

@ThomasA210652

It’s easy to understand why these Celtic fans are not happy with the decision, as Ideguchi is now out injured and they believe Niang should’ve been sent off during the match, which likely would’ve made life a lot easier for Postecoglou’s side.
