Dharmesh Sheth has been speaking on the Transfer Talk podcast about where Wolves and Adama Traore stand in terms of a new contract, amid interest from elsewhere.

Wolves have had to fend off interest in Traore since the summer, with Tottenham Hotspur heavily tipped to sign the winger – and now that he is in the final 18 months of his contract, his value will be diminishing day by day.

Should Wolves sell Traore?

No!

No!

It was reported last year that Wolves had offered their Spanish winger a new contract, but given how long that’s been on the table, his future appears to be lying away from Molineux, and it could be best to sell Traore as soon as possible to recoup the most amount of money.

Sheth has been speaking about the latest regarding Traore’s situation at Wolves.

He said: “As far as Traore’s concerned, Wolves will be well aware he’s only got 18 months left on his contract, so he’d command a fee of around £20m, we think – which is not bad for a player of his age and his profile.

“As far as Wolves are concerned, though, they want to keep him and there is a contract offer on the table. Unfortunately, that contract offer has been on the table for 15 months and it’s not been signed, so I don’t think that that is a great sign as far as Wolves are concerned.”

TIF Thoughts on Traore…

The winger is hotly tipped to join Spurs this transfer window, although they appear to be keen on a loan deal before making it permanent in the summer, according to The Telegraph – while Wolves are seemingly very set against that type of agreement.

Obviously, this will be down to the fact it will not give Wolves as much of a chance to replace him adequately this month if they don’t receive a fee for him, and if the reported £20m fee is accurate, it could be a great deal for Wolves given that Traore has only got two goals since the start of last season in the league.
