A large number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter following the latest transfer links to emerge over a possible move for Kristian Thorstvedt.

According to a report in The Sun, Spurs are looking at the 22-year-old Genk midfielder as an option, who is the son of the former Tottenham goalkeeper, Erik Thorstvedt.

The report comes amid Tottenham’s attempts to sign the Porto ace Luis Diaz hitting the rocks, with Liverpool believed to have hijacked the north Londoners’ move for the Colombian.

With midfielders being linked to a Spurs exit this month and no new faces to come through the doors as yet, these fans shared their excitement with the links to the £25m-rated Norwegian.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“pls im on my knees”

“He is good, gets in dangerous positions often”
“I WANT THIS TO BE TRUE”
“He’s actually a baller”
“YES”
“We better start planning a parade for when we win the title”

Thorstvedt has been a regular in the Belgian side this season with 19 league appearances to his name, which has seen the youngster grab three goals and two assists (via Transfermarkt).

And with Spurs lacking creativity in their midfield this season, it seems these fans would love to see what the Genk ace could do under Antonio Conte.
