A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are livid on Twitter with Matt Doherty following his latest display.
Antonio Conte handed Matt Doherty only his eighth start of the season for Tottenham Hotspur and with Spurs conceding and going behind to League One side Morecambe, it will have done nothing to help persuade the manager any of the defenders required more game time.

Reports have suggested that Doherty could well be on his way out of Tottenham this month and returning back to Wolves and that could be best for himself and the supporters as they clearly were not pleased with his latest performance.

Considering Spurs brought in a new right-back over the summer in Emerson Royal, coupled with Doherty’s lack of starts under both Nuno Espirito Santo and Conte, it appears that for the good of his career, he may need to move on.
