Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to news surrounding news for non-league talent Ollie Tanner.

Spurs have certainly been looking everywhere when it comes to new talent for them to bring in this window.

Their searches have taken them to places like Juventus for Paulo Dybala, Milan for Franck Kessie and FC Porto for Luis Diaz. And recently, their searches have even managed to reach Isthmian League Premier Division side Lewes FC, with reports claiming that they are after Tanner, their 19-year-old winger.

However, even though the fee might not be that big considering the size of the club in question, it appears as though there are still some problems when it comes to reaching an agreement, as according to reports, Spurs are “not yet thought to have met the teenager’s asking price”.

The news of this was relayed by @TheSpursExpress for fans to react to, where it was met with much exasperation, as supporters couldn’t believe the idea of Tottenham not stumping up the cash to sign someone as low down the football pyramid as this:

“Sorry, we’re not meeting the price tag of a NON LEAGUE player?!?! Nah man done with this club”

“Every player must be bargained for he’s non league for crying out load and we can’t meet that??? How low will we go”
“Can’t make it up. We are Banter FC.”
“We are a shambles”
“You’re telling me nearly Lautaro on the line €80m in the summer and half way through a ticket selling, Boxing match having season.. we can’t meet a non-league club’s demands? Yeah #ENICOut #LevyOut
“Plays for a semi-professional club believe it or not. This club is so tragic it’s actually funny.”
